27 10 2026 ARACON

TFG Marine was pleased to participate in this year’s ARACON, with Global TFG Fleet Manager Chia How Khee joining a panel to discuss the trends, challenges and opportunities in today’s ARA market.

Khee highlighted the need for greater digitalisation to support verification, fraud prevention and buyer confidence across the sector – including through the roll-out of ISO22192 certified mass flow meter systems.

One key takeaway from panellists included: implementation of mass flow meters alone will not solve the industry’s problems. The central issues of clear regulation and standards, consistent enforcement through robust bunker license framework and adoption of digitalisation remain.

We encourage port authorities and regulators to continue backing the rollout of certified MFM technology alongside the usage of ISO22192 with clear regulation that promotes proper use and enforcement – helping create a more transparent, consistent and trusted bunkering environment for customers worldwide.

TFG Marine is proud to be a founding member of the Bunkering Services Initiative – a collaborative industry programme established to improve accountability, visibility and operational efficiency across marine fuel supply chains.
