TFG Marine and ZeroNorth complete first eBDN trial at Port Louis, Mauritius

Port Louis, 12 May 2026 – TFG Marine and ZeroNorth have successfully completed the first trial of an electronic bunker delivery notice (eBDN) solution at Port Louis, Mauritius — marking the first deployment of this technology in the Indian Ocean island nation.

This achievement builds on TFG Marine's established eBDN programme, developed in partnership with ZeroNorth, which was first deployed in Singapore and most recently extended to the Middle East through a successful trial at the Port of Sohar, Oman.

The digital solution streamlines the bunker delivery process, enhances transparency, and supports the wider adoption of digital bunkering standards across TFG Marine's global network.

TFG Marine has been supplying marine fuel in Mauritius for over two years via its joint venture with Groupe Roland Maurel – TFG-GRM. Strategically located in the heart of the Indian Ocean, TFG-GRM was established to provide shipping customers in the region with a reliable, efficient and transparent marine fuel supply service.

Kenneth Dam, Executive Director of TFG Marine, commented: "TFG Marine has been at the forefront of eBDN adoption since its introduction in Singapore, and this trial in Mauritius demonstrates the scalability of the solution across our global network. We are committed to continuing to roll out this capability across our operations worldwide."

P. Roland Maurel, Chairman at Groupe Roland Maurel, commented: “The successful deployment of eBDN technology at Port Louis demonstrates our shared commitment to raising operational standards and advancing digital bunkering practices in Mauritius. We look forward to continuing to build on this partnership to establish Mauritius as a leader in bunkering digitalisation and transparency.”
